Staffer: Thad | Posted: 08.26.09 Answer: Hey, and welcome to WhatsAFile.com A .rar file is a compressed file much like a zip file. It was developed by a Russian software engineer named Eugene Roshal. Rar stands for Rational And Reliable. So I would suggest getting over to rarlab.com and downloading the fully functional demo. Install the demo, then right click the .rar file youve downloaded and select extract here. Thenyou should be able to watch it. The file is most likely a .wmv, .mpg, .avi, .mov, or similar movie file extension. Thanks again for the question. Hope that gets you going. Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .rar related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede. |
