Staffer: Matt | Posted: 12.01.09 Answer: A .uue file is a Uuencoded File, or Unix Encoded file. Since its encoded in unix it needs to be decoded so you can open it with wordpad.exe or notepad.exe if you run a windows operating system. There is a utility online that will do it for you. Try googling Online Uudecoder Tool. You can just upload the file and it will decode it for you. Using a webpage save you time as you dont have to download a file install it then convert it. Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .uue related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede. |
