What's a .wmv file extension

Question: Cannot open email messages with wmv file extensions. Have tried several downloads found by searching but nothing works. If there is a registry problem do I have to go to one of those Registry cleaners such as RegCure? |

Staffer: Mike | Posted: 11.30.09 Answer: We suggest you try either Gom Media Player or VLC Media Player they both are free open source and very lightweight. Since they are lightweight they will likely run smoother on an older system like yours. Those can both be downloaded from the right menu on our site for free. You dont have to run a registry program, but if there is an error this is really the only way to fix it. try those first however. Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .wmv related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede. |
