Staffer: Thad | Posted: 08.24.09 Answer: Well dll is short for dynamic link library. They are basically files that perform certain functions for applications. In short you dont open those. They are helpers to the application file which is in this case the exe file. Thats either the installer or the app itself. The txt file is probably a readme file of sorts, or it stores data on the application. If you are certain this is not a virus you can go ahead and run that exe file. Hope this helps! Thanks for visiting WhatsAFile.com Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .dll related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede. |
