What's a .wmv file extension

Question: Just got a funny bunny.wmv file in my email account, i cant open it, im have windows older version maybe 98 or office 2001? Not sure. Can you suggest something?

Answer: A .wmv file extension is a Windows Media Video file, and requires a video player to work. Windows media player is free and comes with newer versions of windows.

We suggest you try either Gom Media Player or VLC Media Player they both are free open source and very lightweight. Since they are lightweight they will likely run smoother on an older system like yours. Thanks for posting to WhatsAFile.com
