What's a .xlsx file extension

Question: Hey there. I got this file named DC Instructions Template.xlsx application from a friend think it may be power point but it doesnt open right? Ive tried this on all 3 computers in my office and nada.

Answer: Hey thanks for visiting WhatsAFile.com That happens to be Microsoft Office 2007 and beyonds new format. They make a file format converter. Its basically the same for the word (docx), Power Point (PPTX), and the other Office Apps.

The hole thing is based on xml and is compressed so they can be sent via email, and downloaded faster.
