Question: A little .myd file help please. Old school CMS was hacked, and im trying to reinstall there is virtually no support from the maker. I have the db in a myd format, not a zip, phpmyadmin wont recognize it or it gives errors thanks.

Answer: A .myd file is a mysql data file. according to our resources you should also have an .frm file as well. You may also have a myi or mysql index file. All files may be required.

I think you should be able to just import the file directly into mysql, but if im wrong please tell me and ill do some more research.

Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .myd related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede.
