Answer: A .pdb file is usually associated with intuit quicken or similar. Its a database file basically, that is semi proprietary.
It seems the file is missing or corrupt. Im assuming youve reinstall quicken, and are just missing that file.
If i where you i would open up quicken on my old computer and see about doing another backup of those 2008 files. Pretty straightforward really. Quicken makes some great financial software, that is super user friendly. Additionally you could try getting the file of any backup disks youve used in the past.
Good luck with those financials.
Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .pdb related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede.
