What's a .torrent file extension

Question: Downloading Astro Boy 2009 DVDSCR XViD CAMELOT.torrent and i cant watch it with Windows Media Player, I have flash 10 installed, and divx but no go for this movie. Do i need a DVD burner too?

Answer: A .torrent file is a bittorrent file extension. Torrent literally mean a heavy flow, this is a great descriptor for a file sharing application.

Let me first say that what you are attempting to do is illegal, but ill not pass moral judgment as ive used torrents before.

Anyway what you have downloaded is the start of the file. Now you need an application to initiate the download and connect to a seed, or many seeds. I like the application burst. Just google burst torrent and you will see that app. There are hundreds of torrent clients however. I would also suggest you be careful with what you download and share as there is a huge potential for viruses and malware.

Another thing... after you finish the download i would exit out of burst, otherwise you will continue to be part of the peer to peer network and potentially slow your internet connection down.

Before you try anything you should think about doing a free scan for .torrent related registry errors. This will ensure your computer is ready to precede.
