What's a .flv file extension

Question: Integrated a utility that rips youtube.com videos to my computer. I cant watch them, so is the software broke or is it my computer thats lacking stuff?

Im good at computers been working on them for year, i just am having a bit of an error with this issue.

Answer: Hey no problems mate. Flash was originally owned by Macromedia but was bought out more recently by Adobe the same fellas that make the pdfs. This file is a flash video file. So you have 2 choices here really you can either install a flv reader, or download an flv converter. The choice is yours ultimately.

You can find either by googling or binging those terms.

Your utility is working fine as far as we can see. Just get yourself a converter or reader. Hope I was of assistance, if so please give me a decent rating.
